| I can tell by looking at the bolt holes.. what size they are.. If you are talking about the pitch/thread... just find out one.. for that size (m6, m8, m10 etc) and usually the pitch's are the same for that size etc. Also.. I recommend buying a set of "re-threader bits".. I believe they will rent them out of Autozone/advanced etc.. but I bought a kit from sears.. I wouldn't advise using a tap to chase threads. The retreader bits look like taps almost.. except they don't cut the treads.. Here is a picture of what I am talking about..
